Lovely art style but not really enjoying it, finding the controls to be a bit fiddly and unsatisfying.

I played it using a 360 pad on my PC and had no problems with the controls. It's one of the best games I've played so hopefully you'll enjoy it more soon.

Mark of the Ninja is one of the best stealth games in recent years.

And as a disclaimer, I bloody hate stealth games.

Ok, based on the enthusiasm in this thread, I went back to Mark of the Ninja, gave the controls a chance and it clicked. Enjoying it much more now. All it took was some perseverance.

Trying to have a quick play of as many as my Steam games as I can to get the amount of 'unplayed games' down. Decided to start with the various Indie games I've picked up in humble bundles etc.

A Virus Named Tom - It's perfectly okay and I'd happily play it on my phone if I was waiting for a train but I'm sure as hell not going to sit playing it on my PC.

Bastion - Looks amazing and the audio commentary is great but I got bored with the combat fairly quickly, may go back to at some point but not in any rush.

Thomas Was Alone - This has pretty much shot to the top of my must play list. It's so simplistic but absolutely compelling to play. Love it!

Been playing various PC games, Titan Quest (brilliant ARPG), Evoland (Fairly flawed but fun game) and Left 4 Dead 2's Versus mode with fellow mates.

Gonna try to finish Evoland tonight, although I'm going to try get 100% as well.

Still playing Jeanne D'arc. I think I maybe a bit over levelled now as I'm cruising through every encounter. I just found out that I've missed one of only three missable items in the game. I'm midway through chapter seven (of eight I believe) so I'm too far in to start again but I may have a further playthrough and see how the other path splits pan out. gooseberry fool like this is why I usually play RPGs with a guide.

The Sims 3.

I don't think I'll bother with Sims 4 (as it'd be Origin-only and possibly online-only DRM :dread: ) I went ahead for this when it was on daily sale, and I'm glad I finally jumped into it. The UI is bit mess for my liking but it does feel bit more alive than original Sims (which has eaten up most of my teenage times alongside Diablo 2) so that's good, I guess.

Bit annoyed at lack of items though, looks like I need to get another expansion pack to boost it up but I'm not paying £17.99 for them

I got this in the sale too for my gf. I've been playing it a fair bit though as I rather enjoy making the houses. As for items, there are lots of sites with free to download items made by fans. You can dl hair, objects, furniture, floors etc. I'm giving the downloads a go now. Some look amazing.

Also playing Bioshock Infinite. Rather enjoying it. Never really liked the look of the originals, but liked the artistic styling of the trailers for this so had to bite at £6 on Steam. Not sure I like how the enemies react. They basically see you and everyone just charges towards you at once. Gunplay isn't anywhere near as good as something like Halo but I really like the setting. Just a shame enemies aren't that satisfying to kill. Plus the powers so far are pretty meh, especially as money is very sparse and you need it to upgrade.

Shelter

Picked it up in the Steam sale. Took me a couple of hours from start to finish and held my attention throughout.

Hardest part was trying to individualise my cubs by their markings and constantly keep track of the ones that had and had not been fed. I won't lie, despite being devastated at every cub I lost (one to a fox at night, one to raging river rapids, and 2 to those bastard eagles), I was somewhat relieved at having to manage less of them. This probably makes me a bad father/mother. Only managed to get 1 of my 5 cubs all the way through to the end. What a tear jerker.

Done & dusted with Assassins creed 3. I will never ever EVER play that again. I bet my ps3 feels violated after that. If not it certainly will with the next game in line: Resident Evil 6 :dread: :dread: :dread:

Dust: An Elysian Tale

I'm stuck. :dread: The percentage things says i'm about 19% in to the game, just got to a bit where i've got to Aurora village, the mayor has sent me off to find the leader of the bad dudes, and I get to a bit where there's a bunch of fire, a yellow door thing which I can't open as I don't have the key, and it asks me to find a different route. I've been all around that area twice now, can't find the key or a route I can get to yet. I suspect it's trying to get me to do some side quests first to get the key/climbing/crouching abilities but it's a bit gooseberry fool if that's what it's actually doing, letting me go all that way before saying "No, you can't do that quest yet".

Ryse. Man this is pretty  and violent. And epic. A little bit shallow but I'm enjoying it.

AC4 took a break and I nearly over done it. Wonderful game, so much fun being a pirate.

And battlefield, which I'm completely gooseberry fool at. :(

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

Is it a yellow door or a rock with yellow bits in it?
