Ghost Trick. The story is interesting and multi facetted. Some of the puzzles can be obtuse, but I'm enjoying it.

Just help the duder get out of prison. Then he was promptly captured again.

A choice, before my PS4 arrives, it's a toss up between Saints row 4, splinter cell blacklist, hotline Miami, or I quite fancy farcry 3 or vanquish for a second time on PS3.

Too many games, too little time.

In those, you really get to know and feel for the characters and then, when you are confronted with some dilemma it really has some weight, some emotional impact.

In the stories of 400 days I've played (2 of them), It's all been about making a single difficult decision. The stories are so blatantly set up to lead to that one dilemma, it's so transparent. And because of this, I don't care for the characters or what's going on at all. Do I get person A or person B killed? Do I do do terrible thing X or awful thing Y? Do I want what's behind door number 1 or door number 2? Who cares?

The living dead?

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

Remember Me - Image

Terrible voice acting as usual, clunky camera, basic fighting style ebut there is something about it that I'm quite enjoying. Really digging the design of the game, the lead very much modelled on P.N.03 (which is always a good thing). Surprised how good it looks to and the neo French setting is a welcome breath of fresh air. Early days but I'm not hating it by a long margin.

Well done...do you like it? etc..

Just finished the other night. Yeah I liked it, very much so, but as I said in the "recently completed thread" the latter part of the middle section just dragged on a bit.

Got Remember Me on PS+, played it for a few hours. It wants to have Batman's combat system but doesn't quite pull it off. The world is richly designed and interesting, but the game never let's you do anything with it and is very linear. Probably won't carry on with this but will read up on the rest of the story.

Uncharted 2

Just got to Chapter 3 (Borneo) and so far i've hardly done anything, it's essentially a 'playable' cutscene at the moment.

Played about 30 minutes of that Remember Me, the camera isn't the best and the combat is poor, in my opinion. Very linear. Very disappointing.

But a very good-looking game. I was really impressed with the art style and level designs. Shame I'm just not that keen on the fighting.

True enough, I'd rather watch it than play it. I may be wrong but I recall someone pointing out that almost every aspect to the core gameplay mechanics is bettered by games before it, and they're right. The setting alone doesn't cut it.

Amazing game :datass:

I think I played it 4 times through in total, the crushing difficulty being the best once you'd got used to it. Actually having to properly use cover and having every bullet count transforms the game.

Easily the best Uncharted game.

Deleted this last night for that very reason. The combat system was just so unsatisfying and cumbersome, and I found myself sighing every time the camera broke away to set up another fight scene. Shame cos I was enjoying the setting, even if the exploration aspect was more linear than the Greenwich Meridian.

Bully
Bloody hell this is getting tedious. So much faffing on missions, annoying music, frustrating elements to the game, and it's dragging on for waaay too long. Think I'm half way through the final chapter. Just want to complete it now.

Blue Dragon
It's about as by-the-book as you can get for a JRPG, which is fine, but it's completely devoid of any challenge. Battles are incredibly easy, and even bosses which you think you might struggle against seem to die a lot quicker than expected. I'm enjoying it, but was hoping for a bit more challenge.

Put a few hours into Layton and the Azran Legacy this weekend, and I really can't get into it.

I think, despite Miracle Mask probably being my favourite game, Layton-fatigue has really set in now and it's just a case of going through the motions. It's technically fine, but it seems very slow and plodding and I haven't been taken in by the story at all.

Played the opening couple of hours of Arkham City last week too, and it was a much stronger opening than I remember. I didn't get much further the first time before I lost interest though, as I generally do in open world games, but I'll give it another go today. Probably should get back to GTA V too. :shifty:

I stuck on SSX (2012). I'm not really sure about this game. It feels kind of bland.

Shadow Man

I'm really getting into this now. It's a great Metroid-vania style game.
