I got my Gamecube Hori stick today so I played Guilty Gear XX Accent Core on wii for over 4 hours. I've been obsessed with Guilty Gear ever since I downloaded XX #Reload off GOG 2 months ago, I'm actually sad Guilty Gear Xrd is PS3/4 exclusive.

I'm up to World S4 on Mario 3D World. It's still good. Getting harder though. Might take a break from it and come back, though. Also, as far as I can see, there's no advantage or difference while playing as Weegie?

The other thing I find interesting about it is that I've got the 3D set to full and in the "out" mode and it looks brilliant and doesn't do my head in. Literally everything else really messes with my eyes/head. DKCR on full 3D was completely unplayable.

I'm playing a bit of Rhythm Thief as well, which isn't all that exciting, if I'm honest, but I've only played 45 minutes of it so far.

My experience with most games other than 3D World is making me less inclined to try other games on the system, but I'll definitely play A Link Between Worlds and Luigi's Mansion 2 at some point. Got Rhythm Thief, Mario and Attack of the Friday Monsters to keep me going for the time being, though.

EDIT - As for other 3DS games, you really should play Fire Emblem.

I've never been big on SRPGs and the 20+ hour length of it puts me off. I'm mostly into shorter games these days.

Mario Land makes great use of the 3D. The levels are like mini dioramas and the top different types of 3D are really effective on them. Luigi's Mansion 2 looks good as well for the same reason.

As for Fire Emblem, it isn't that long a game. If you have a decent-sized session with your 3DS each day - like a commute to work - you'll easily dust off a mission or so in that time. Saying that, I haven't actually completed it, so maybe the levels get much longer later on.

Really need to go back to it.

You could always try Ghost Recon Shadow Wars? It must be about £5 now.

Bejeweled 3.

This is great stuff. I didn't expect much from it as I didn't like the second one (the first one on 360 XBLA market, even) that well but I'm liking this loads, and it only cost me 69p too due to sales.

I've been trying to get all common badges at Gold level while I'm trying to get better at it, it is mostly due to luck mind but also reflex which I'm kinda bad with when it comes to timed modes such as Lighting one...

Also been playing Saints Row 3 on 360, and I've just finished Walking Dead Season 2 Ep1 on 360.

The only way I can play the timed modes is by running the game in a tiny window so I don't need to move my hand as far.

Got stuck on that bit in Doom 3, the bit in Delta labs that everyone who played Doom 3 got stuck on. Spent most of last night running around in circles because I can't remember what to do. :fp:

Think I may have to resign to Googling some help.

In the meantime I'm going to have another blast on Saints Row IV this evening.

It is a good, solid game but it is so forgettable, I found. Did nothing really to excite me and is still not a patch on the original Splinter Cell trilogy.

My favourite Splinter Cell was Conviction :shifty:
