Got both of them on my second try. Now, if only I could kill that Ceaseless Discharge gimp, everything would be golden.

I'm currently wandering around in The Duke's Archives. This place is confusing.

*googles Ceasless Discharge*

...

That big lava strawberry floater? He's one of the easier bosses. He has a couple of really obvious tells as to which attack is coming next.

There's a very cheap way of killing Ceaseless Discharge, not that you'd ever find me taking the cheap route :shifty:

I eventually killed him. I'm not entirely sure what happened. Looked he fell down a big hole after losing grip on the platform? I have no idea. He's dead anyway, praise the sun etc.

Killed the Firesage Demon and the Centipede Demon as well. I think I have two more main bosses to go (Seath and something else) before finding out what the lordvessel does. I know what the last boss is, as I kinda spoiled that for myself ages ago. I'm now in Lost Izalith, running away from all the big headless dinosaurs down there.

That is the easy way of killing Ceaseless Discharge and the only way I've ever manage to kill him for that matter.

I'm guessing the "something else" you mean is Bed of Chaos which is one of the most frustrating bosses in the game despite it not really being a proper fight as such.

Oh wonderful, I could always do with more rage inducing frustration

Edit - Beat it and Seath. On Gywn. Got annihilated :slol:

Mortal Kombat

I love the variety of single-player modes in this, and the amount of unlockable content. There's always an incentive to keep playing. The fighting itself is pretty good too, has a nice flow to it.

Gwyn is an utter wanker. Starting to get sick of running through the final area.

Papers Please and Goat Simulator. Got a lot of much bigger games to sink my teeth into but really not feeling like it at present.

Papers Please is fun in short bursts but I find it quite intense to play so I'll only play a couple of days in game at a time.

Goat Simulator is the perfect gaming antidote for me at the moment, I can just mess about and whilst its very limited it is just good fun to play.

Also been playing Pokemon Fire Red on by GB Micro lately although that has slowed down a little over the last week.

Wondering what people's thoughts are on Dragon's Crown. By the same guys as Muramasa isn't it? You can tell.
If Muramasa was a homage of sorts to Shinobi, then Dragon's Crown is a love letter to Golden Axe. Really like the AI recruitment system, makes a bit more sense than that Dragon's Dogma inter-dimensional pawns carry-on.
Probably better playing the PS3 version on a bigger screen over the Vita one though, when there's you and 3 buddies scrapping about 10 enemies there's absolute hell on.

Knack - so far, enjoying it. There are a number of places where you can meet an instant death (with the first boss being the most likely encounter, although there are a handful of opportunities on the way to him). I think the game could get repetitive, but I'm not yet at that point.

Played a few hours of Bioshoklck Infinite and got tremendously bored. Then deleted it.

Fired up Castlevania Lords of Shadow and this is more strawberry floating like it! My kinda game. Huge rip-off of numerous other stuff but that's besides the point. Looks incredible but Robert Carlyle seems to be phoning in his dialogue. Thank god for Patrick Stewart!

I felt like that about the game initially, it does get better though. But not as good as the prequels IMO.

Bioshock Infinites story is all over the place, I have no Idea what on earth was going on, only the ending made sense (not of everything). Oddly the ending made more sense to the Bioshock original than Inifinite.

Add in that horrible ending and the fact that my 360 seemed to be dying under the stress of it all and it really was a terrible end to a pretty good game. Elizabeth was/is a revelation tho.

Also, whoever thought that boss battle with comstocks wife was a good idea should be shot!

After finishing Dark Souls II twice in the past fortnight I felt the need to play something a little cheerier and downloaded South Park: The Stick of Truth from the US Playstation Store. I've just got as far as defeating The Bard and I'm loving it thus far. It has a little replay value too thanks to trophies for fighting bosses wearing certain costumes etc.

Hopefully gonna have another crack at Gwyn when I get home. If I don't get him in the next few days, I'll probably call it quits as I wanna play something else after 55 odd hours.

This game was one hell of a ride all considering. Kinda drops off after Anor Londo/Smough and Ornstein fight but it was pretty fun still. I'm content with getting to the last boss and not being able to beat him. I never was too good at the parrying and preferred to tank everything. Doesn't seem viable against Gwyn.

Trials Evolution Gold

I'm not very good at it but it's still an enjoyable experience nontheless , I'm playing using an onscreen keyboard and a single USB button which is awkward but works surprisingly well, there hasn't been a course I couldn't finish although I'm sure the hard tracks will destroy me.

I'm still really enjoying Fez on the PS4. The simple but slick presentation, the little graphical effects, the minimalistic but atmospheric sound...and, most importantly, the marvelously tight gameplay.

I've just collected my first
anti-cube
(I know, I'm slow at progressing!) and I'm reaching the stage where I'm getting a little confused by the array of levels and how to manipulate a way through using the map. Even so, it's just terrific fun to play.

Only thing I ever used to do in Roller Coaster Tycoon was design ridiculous roller coasters where the launch speeds were too high etc. to kill the punters.
