Mass Effect 3 - Been putting this off for ages, mainly because the ending is apparently a bit gooseberry fool! Recently bought all the important expansions for eventual play.
Uncharted 1-3 - Started the first one, got side tracked, didn't return
Infamous 2 - Tried the first one, got quite far, felt underpowered!
Killzone 2-3 - These are suppose to be good right?
Ni No Kuni - My friend lent me this before he went to Africa for a year....he's back now!
God of War Ascension
Metal Gear 4
Red Dead Complete (second playthrough)
Earth Defense Force I.A

Help me GR, you are my only hope!

The Uncharted series jumps out at me there. I really enjoyed the 1st one and I played it after the amazing sequel. But if you've got limited time, you can't go wrong with Uncharted 2, great game to blast through in a weekend and you'll have a fantastic time from start to finish.

The only game I see myself playing for a good while is Dark Souls II after a frustrating beginning it's got me hooked much like the one.

Uncharted 2.

As for MGS4, you would need more than a free weekend.

Ditched Ass Creed 3 because it was sucking the life out of me. Started NES Remix. This is actually getting pretty challenging.

Could never get into it myself. I don't see why it gets all the hype and love personally.

I'm replaying through Link to the Past on SNES, this time on Wii U VC. Finished it on Wii but I fancied doing another playthrough.

Good stuff, got to Dark World first temple :-)

I've played for about an hour, it seems good so far, just getting used to at the moment so not overly sure what the best way to play it is but I'll dabble with it and see how I get on

Its the kind of game where it doesn't really matter in terms of progress, you get out of it what you put in. The only way to get better (and further) is to play more, but you can put that time in however you want to, either in little chunks or massive sessions at the end of the day you get better based on your overall time in the game.

Its a brilliantly designed game and if it gets its hooks into you, you won't be able to stop playing it.

Mortal Kombat (360)

Pretty good, although it feels a bit...unresponsive. Having just played Virtua Fighter 5, where everything happens as soon as you hit the button, it feels slower in MK.

I like some of the moves and combos though, and it seems like there's plenty to do. Seems pretty difficult as well.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist

After completing it with a no kills playthrough I thought I'd give it another look using the combat stuff, it turns out there's a silenced shotgun which is the most hilariously broken weapon ever

Started playing Dark Souls. This is really good! Just killed the Taurus Demon. He raped my gooseberry fool many times.

On that note, I'll probably not manage this one in the long term. So much rage is not good for me!

Tomb Raider 2013 (PS3)

Playing this for the second time, and I think Maf is right. It Uncharts Uncharted. It's pretty much non-stop action adventure film-eque stuff and it comes at you faster than I recall in UC3 and definitely faster than in Golden Abyss. I'd still rather play a UC game (and a proper TR game) but this is a *very* good copy.
I just hope they tone down the ridiculous Lara death scenes.

Rayman Origins

Utterly masterful  It's a crime this didn't sell better, it's instantly shot up to being one of my favourite games of last(/this?) gen. Such a tremendously well made platformer with buckets of charm.

Played more Dark Souls last night, I'm in the Undead Parish after killing the iron boar guy. Got merked by a necromancer bloke on the top floor. Been watching some videos on the combat system, must try this riposting as I have never used it

Currently using a short sword with stab.

Playing alot of Command and Conquer: Tiberium Alliance. Trying various mods with ridiculously sized units, but the vanilla edition still holds up today as a pinnacle of the RTS genre.

Might move onto Kane's Wrath after this.

Killed the Capra Demon and the Bell Tower Gargoyles (the latter with the help of phantom sun boy). Capra Demon was easy, realized after two deaths that he has a fall animation that allows you to hit him a bit. Run up the stairs, drop down, hit, rinse and repeat. Lame exploit, but then the game can be unintentionally cheap at times so it feels good returning that

Glad I've played this so far. I was previously put off by all the raging fanboys for it online, but it is a very interesting game and plays a lot different than other titles. I can see why it's so loved.

How did Naughty Dog screwed up the Jak series so badly?

The first one was actually good as a 3D platformer but the sequels that followed it... meh. It's equal to Nintendo following up Super Mario 64 with Mario himself carrying weapons and do quests, GTA-style. :?

Combined that with dreadful shooting mechanics, awful driving sequences and bland overworld maps.

Thank god I'm about to finish Jak 3 and put the series to bed forever.
