Shock horror

Just catching up with the show, almost there. Just watched episode 9. That was one of my fav eps of the season. Vince Gilligan Love what they've been doing with Abed ever since Troy left, too.

I've heard the next one is.....dividing. All in all, I think it's been a really great season, a million times better than 4, not that it's difficult, and probably better than S3, also. A real return to form. Wish John Oliver was a regular. The episodes with him have been the best by far.

Finally all caught up before the final 2 episodes. The GI Joe episode was superb.

Watched Season 4, while it ain't up to Season 1-3 it wasn't bad for the most part (exception being the Muppet episode).

Decent episode with some nice jokes except for the Abed parts but difficult to judge without seeing the 2nd part of the finale next week.

One excellent line in particular in the latest ep

One of my favorite things about this session is Dan Harmon coming back and full on shit-talking the last season. Every joke at it's expense had been right on the money.

Anyway, another solid if unremarkable ep. Loved the scene with Britta and Jeff imagining their future, echoes of the first few series.

The door song was the funniest thing in there.

Pretty terrible ending sadly

Poor finale but an improvement this season over last. I'd be slightly happy if it's renewed, probably find out next month.

Not terrible, not great. Abed's speech about the lack of holiday episodes and the canonical ending was funny, but that was it.

All in all though, season 5 was streets ahead of 4 (wahey!). I honestly thought the show was done after the appalling muppets episode but this series turned me round and made me remember the first two seasons. It definitely suffered from the lack of Troy but Hickey was a more than acceptable replacement for Pierce and the comparative lack of whacky episodes was great. A huge improvement.

Hulu already bought "Community" re-runs, so I bet they'll make the deal for a sixth season. And fans like me will subscribe just to watch

surely the show would be perfect for someone like amazon/netflix/hulu?
