Buying Eternal in trade will save so much money. In fact considering DC won't release it for years you could put the money you would have used to buy the singles into the bank and earn interest.

New post- Forever Evil Justice League:

Image

Considering Superman looks nigh-on identical to his Earth 3 counterpart it makes sense for him to not be in the Justice League while it rebuilds its reputation.

I look forward to Lex taking full credit for defeating the Crime Syndicate, Johns always writes a good Lex.

Both the new JL teams sound awesome. Can't wait to read the first volume trades in 3 years time.

strawberry float that's like over half of my comics next week. Next week has gone from a ridiculous amount of comics to strawberry float all now.

Wonder if this will have a knock effect with the trial of Jean Grey crossover.

EDIT- so here's what it looks like I'm missing out on next week:

All New Invaders #1
All New X-Factor #2
All-New X-Men #22.NOW
Avengers #25
Avengers World #2
Batman #27
Black Widow #2
Captain America #15
Cataclysm Ultimate X-Men #3
Deadly Class #1
Hawkeye #16 - Marvel To Publish Hawkeye #16… Before Hawkeye #15? :fp: :fp: :fp:
Indestructible Hulk #18.INH
Iron Man #20.INH
Mighty Avengers #5.INH
Wolverine and the X-Men #40
Wonder Woman #27
X-Men #9
Zero #5

So not a bad week still, but it was going to be an awesome week :( Odd that not all the marvel books are delayed.

I don't even understand how this has happened in the first place. Absolutely ridiculous

Apparently it's alternating between Kate one issue and Clint the other, so it's not so bad that #16 is coming out first. Still absolutely ridiculous.

Brevoort's Formspring:

Hi Tom, when the heck does the next issue of HAWKEYE drop? Weirdly enough, it looks like 16 comes out before 15?

#16 will be out in a week or so. And #15 is just tough for people to locate, for some reason.

:fp: :fp: :fp: Clueless.

The sales numbers for Hawkeye. Look how much the delays hurt sales, yikes.

With the sales and ship numbers together

#1 - 8/1/12 - [7/9/12]
#2 - 9/5/12 - [9/5/12]
#3 - 10/17/12 - [10/3/12]
#4 - 11/21/12 - [11/21/12] - 34,208 ( -3.4%) -- on time, decrease in sales
#5 - 12/5/12 - [12/5/12] - 34,385 ( +0.5%) -- on time, minor increase in sales
#6 - 12/19/12 - [12/19/12] - 33,440 ( -2.7%) -- on time, decrease in sales
#7 - 1/30/13 - [1/16/13] - 37,000 (+10.6%) -- two weeks late, big increase in sales
#8 - 2/27/13 - [2/27/13] - 36,898 ( -0.3%) -- on time, minor decrease in sales
#9 - 4/10/13 - [3/27/13] - 39,678 ( +7.5%) -- two weeks late, big increase in sales
#10 - 5/1/13 - [4/24/13] - 42,090 ( +6.1%) -- one week late, big increase in sales
#11 - 6/26/13 - [5/29/13] - 40,510 ( -3.8%) -- one month late, decrease in sales
#12 - 7/10/13 - [6/26/13] - 40,837 ( +0.8%) -- two weeks late, minor decrease in sales
Annual #1 - 7/24/13 - [7/3/13]
#13 - 10/16/13- [7/24/13] - 40,476 ( -0.9%) -- 10 weeks late, decrease in sales
#14 - 11/27/13 - [8/28/13] - 39,863 ( -1.5%) -- Three months late, decrease in sales
#15 - ??????? - [9/25/13]
#16 - 1/22/14 - [12/18/13]

Really don't think the title has long left. What is causing the delays? Because it's not Aja on art. Is Fraction struggling for story because he didn't expect it to get past issue 5?

Urgh, can they strawberry float off with this and just get them back together in New York? Couldn't give a gooseberry fool about Kate's adventures in LA or wherever, especially when Pulido is drawing her.

I think I'm going to drop it anyway and just get the next trade. It's nowhere near as good as it was in the first two arcs.

Those figures prove nothing. Sales drop on pretty much every ongoing title after the first issue. A 0.9 and 1.5% decrease is nothing. It's normal.

Anyone else read Bandette?

I absolutely love this art style, and I love the energy and enthusiasm of Bandette and her friends. I'm currently spacing out the issues to cheer me up between the bleakness of Batman and Nightwing stuff.

Just look at this art:

Aye, I love Bandette. It's a great looking book and the story is fun and all aged friendly too. It got an Eisner nod too last year IIRC.

There's a whole bunch of books from MonkeyBrain that people should be checking out. High Crimes is fantastic, as is D4VE and Theremin.

Rather enjoyed Superior Spiderman 25. Maybe a few too many big storylines at the same time.

Lazarus one of my favourite comics, started buying it randomly as was getting bored of superheroes, just picked up #5. Can anyone recommend any Image comics etc that aren't superheroes?

I too thoroughly enjoyed Superior Spidey #25.

Here's the Image comics I currently get, all of them are fantastic

Black Science
Deadly Class - this starts this week, but it's by Remender so it's almost certainly going to be good.
East of West
The Manhattan Projects
Saga
Sex Criminals - just the most absurd yet fun book ever
Velvet
Zero

What threw me about Superior #25 is that Stark apparently doesn't know Peter Parker is (was) Spider-Man. I know Mephisto erased everyone's memory of Civil War but I'm sure Peter must have revealed his identity to Stark again since.

Saga and Fatale I get in trade. I also appear to have lost volume 2s of both as well as some Hickman Fantastic Four, Kingdom Come and American Vampire when I moved recently. :( I hadn't even got round to reading Kingdom Come.

Wasn't Stark back up of his memories that was on the hard drive pre-Civil War? What did Mephisto actually erase? The moment Peter reveals himself, so that no one remembers? I know in the invincible iron man issue with Spidey in, before Secret Invasion, Tony didn't know Peter was Spidey.

Nice one cheers guys, will try a couple of those heard good things about some of them before.

Got first two issues of God is Dead as well without knowing anything about it, enjoyed first one still to read #2, although it is pretty much a superhero comic in a sense.

As far as I know the Mephisto deal was so that no one at all knew.

People remember he unmasked they just can't remember who it was unless he tells them directly. I thought they'd since had that conversation though, most of the other Avengers know.

When did all the Avengers find out? I remember in New Avengers volume 2 everyone on the team apart from Spider-Man got paid because he hadn't revealed his identity.

Wasn't that because he didn't want to reveal his identity to Victoria Hand considering her previous association with Norman Osborn? I'm sure there was an issue of New Avengers V1 after the mindwipe where he took his mask off in front of the team. I think Bucky was there.
