Looking at car finance, but what is the best option?

Would PCP be the best route, given that you can just keep upgrading every few years?
Or a lease? They have the lowest monthly payments from what I can see..

Why can't it just be like lending money, the old fashioned way. :)

Why not just take a loan and buy a car. That's the old fashioned way!

I would, but the interest is far greater on a bank loan.
Barclays want to put 19.9% on :/

If you want a new car, go round some of the dealerships. A lot of the manufacturers have related companies to provide loans (I know Audi and Fiat both do) that will sort you out for probably no more than 6%. Some will also give you a contribution. When I bought our Audi, they were offering a £2,000 contribution when you took a loan so I bought the car on Finance, got the £2k off and then paid the whole amount after a couple of months which meant after a couple of months interest, I still saved an extra 1.7K off of the car price. 8-)

Yes?

Unlike Falsey, I don't have any points on my licence. Stick to the speed limit in town, boot it on b roads and motorways. And keep an eye out for dark Volvos and Vectras or whatever Vauxhall call it these days. The Vauxhall Potato or something. Them be undercover police in my neck of the woods.
