One thing I didn't understand was who the blind old guy Chalky went to stay with was?

Just an old friend, wasn't mentioned before. He was great, too. A pity he couldn't have stuck around longer.

What a sad way to go. It was all set up for a happy ending for him as well

That was one of the best exits I've ever seen for a character. Absolutely beautifully shot. It rivals Jimmy's at the end of season 2. And the end credits. WOW.

Goddamn, why are my eyes wet?

That was a strawberry floating great final. Not bombastic like last season's but it had wonderful moments and gave closure to every plot thread we had this season. Nobody won, really. The Chicago storyline just got a hellava lot more interesting!

Also, I just read an interesting fact that completely passed me by. There was no boardwalk this season! They place where they filmed those scenes was only contracted for 3 years so they can't film there anymore. I didn't even notice it wasn't there this season.

I didn't even realise the Boardwalk had been absent. :shock:

Another interesting fact: Richard was the first and last character we saw this season. Full circle indeed.

I feel like the show is reaching its natural conclusion so I wouldn't be too devastated if next season is the last. Would really suck if they didn't get the full episode order though.
