strawberry floating hell that was stressful. Not my finest moment trying to big-dick it and vote for our own team with only two in it, but hey ho.

We've got to have some fun with it too though, right?! As it turned out, your vote for us does help somewhat as spreading votes is key longer term and we've been held back from doing that today. I think this shows that it's going to be tough to rig the votes in this format. At least we know what we're up against for future votes.

We've actually managed to spread it quite well across all four teams and somehow walked away unscathed, so I think we should consider that a huge win.

My thoughts are that this shows how hard it will be to manipulate votes when one of our players is up for Interrogation. If all Tribes spread their votes evenly between Tribes which are not their own, the Tribe on the receiving end will have to be actively involved to ensure they escape undetected. We had to put half of our votes behind second place today to win the vote by one and that's after a deadlock. That's on day one, where nothing was known. It will only get harder as the game progresses. With each day passed, it will be harder to split our vote, vote for ourselves etc when we are on the receiving end of an interrogation.

In short, the Tribe who have a player up for interrogation is up against it because by all other Tribes simply spreading the votes evenly, the Tribe to which the interrogated player belongs would naturally be revealed.

That's all good! I imagine the whatsapp will get a bit quieter when it's not our players out in the firing line.

I'm currently thinking that with Roonmaster coming in again to vote alongside Clarkman and Tsunade that they're a bit of a trio so i'm going to try and push against Clarkman tomorrow with the reasoning that if we can get him then we can also find out a likely tribe for 'Tsunade and Cora'. Not sure if we have any big plans or anything yet though as it's still early doors.

We all need to be wary that placing a third vote, for a third different team tomorrow will give a strong indication of which team you are on. Ideally place a vote for a team which you have voted for before, or for our team, but be very careful not to give the game away!

CONTESTS

4a: Once a week there will be a CONTEST. (I also reserve the right to call random BONUS CONTESTS)
4b: The tribe that wins the contest earns extra points for doing so, but they also earn SAFETY - meaning their tribe will be immune from that coming weekend's vote kills, even if one (or more) of their number is "at risk". So even if a member of their tribe receives the most votes that weekend, they will not be killed - another player at risk would take their place (the player with the next most votes).
4c: However, if a kill attempt is made on one of their tribe before the weekend vote, their safety will be broken.
4d: The winning tribe will be known publicly each week, but its members will not.
4e: (Bonus contests would earn their victors points but no safety.

Glad I could get it in for the team! I'm very much process focused, so it really played to my skills. There's no way we could have put that together as a team at the same pace. Here was my method in case it helps anyone in future events:

Google the albumn names and copy and paste them into Excel
Open a search window on GRCade.
Input Herdanos as the author
Change search within to Topic titles only
Change Display results as Topics
Type or paste (depending on the complexity) the album name in to the search bar
Open topic in new tab
Press back on the search window tab to return to the search page with settings still applied
Repeat process until all answers found
Then progress through the tabs, copy and pasting the original topic name (found at the top of the second post in each topic) along side the according album name back in Excel
Once list is complete, return to Herdanos original post and copy and paste the list of names to him in a PM

I mean, I doubt Dan will use the same contest setup again, but it can't hurt to be prepared!

In a much more trusting world (which this isn't) we could get to a position where the tribes unite and wipe the others out but that may be a bit extreme.

I also think Sat might be too smart of a target for this? Like if we go for a less experienced player then if they want to con/betray us it might be easier to spot.

They will go back to committee anyway. I picked Sat because he'd know its a good move.

Just a few stray thought about tomorrow:

If we get confirmation of a tribe making a shot tommorrow then that tribe can't contain either DML or Curls as they've both missed a day of posting.
If we get Clarkman right then we should absolutely push for Parksey to be put up tomorrow. As they both flipped their votes at the same time yesterday so I would be very surprised if they're both not alligned with the same tribe.
