So we're just going to ignore where after you continued moaning about it I swapped to the cane and still trounced all in my path then? ;)

Thinking back I think Logarius and Ludwig were another two that got a bit annoying!

Logarius was easy (for me) because you can parry him
basically any boss where theres an obvious parry is a walkover.
the others are more Dark Souls-esque

I think that was one of the NPC summons that was patched in later on.

Ludwig is fun
resisting urge to summon - i got him to last 25% of his health before i called it a night.
hopefully he'll be dead this time tomorrow :datass:

wow so i think i died more to Living Failures than Maria (or about the same)
she telegraphed her attacks so much in 2nd and 3rd phase and i just wailed on her after dodging to the left.
surprised.
i put Brador out of his misery and im in the depths of the Fishing Hamlet :dread: what a delightful place

Went back to this recently and it seems a lot easier post-Sekiro. Played a skill build with the saif and cane, what a combo.

the cane is lovely - havent tried the saif yet.
on Orphan now - im not having much trouble at all with his 1st phase and got him to about a cm of lifebar on my 3rd or so attempt but he has some wicked combos in 2nd phase, and that lightening is wrecking me at the moment :dread:

Yeah the Orphan is a bit annoying! The waves of lightning you should just be able to roll through if you time it right - also it's easier if you stay away from the centre of the arena as that's where they originate from. I would recommend drawing him over to the water area as there is less gooseberry fool to get stuck on.

downed him today - got used to his 2nd phase madness and i found if i ran towards the fog gate when lightning started it dissipates before it got to me - felt awesome after beating him.
Lawrence now :dread:

Laurence is just like a roided up Cleric Beast, I didn't find him too tricky compared to some of the others in the DLC. His final phase is a bit annoying because it make moving around harder but other than that I don't think he has too much to offer.

dead!
DLC complete.
i think my favourite bosses were Orphan and Ludwig. Maria was over v quickly, Living Failures were crowd management, and Laurence was just annoying.

its amazing how bosses you had trouble with are suddenly easier the 2nd time round
ive beaten the DLC bosses and got all the weapons and items so ive switched to the chikage and put on the Japanese set and im doing NG+ now
ill probably got bored at some point but i think the plan is to do bloodtinge, then Arcane/Strength for NG+2/3

this cheeky banana split
not helped by the fact i switched to cane about 75% of the way through the fight, with a -hp over time gem in it, and didnt even realise :fp:
