Thoughts

Wilfred played very well, but I'm extremely glad his backstabbing was his downfall.

Kieran was absolutely right to write his name down. I probably would have gone further and said in the boardroom. 'if I am voted off as a traitor, you must also vote for wilf' but I feel maybe that wasn't allowed in the rules of the show.

His(Wilfs) betrayal of Alyssa was vaguely understandable as he was in trouble.

Amanda he literally sew the seeds so it was pointless. She only voted for Theo to protect him.

By the time it was Kieran you knew Wilf'd do it again. He is a pure manipulator and I'm so so glad he didn't win. Even his final speech was just lies and pure scum.

I disliked Hannah but good on her for finally clicking.

Very glad Aaron won too, such a loveable puppy like chap .

I of course get that it's reality TV and the directing and cutting of the show probably is done to make it more dramatic and make Wilf look bad. Hell it may even be set up. But it provided good entertainment and I'm happy with the way it went.

In summary - Wilf - gaslighter manipulator , perfect for a traitor but took it too far.

Kieran- absolute legend, absolutely did the right thing and in some ways remained loyal to the faithful by doing that.

Meryl - lucked her way to the money and never had a clue.

Aaron - lovely chap, helped massively by being a scapegoat and close to Wilf and Amanda, but fortunately he was never used as bait for the vote. Did well to survive. (Also on a side note. My least favourite part of the show was that bald masseuse laying into Aaron just for being interested in his life, it really pisses me off, what an absolute banana split that bald guy was for doing that)

Hannah- gullible idiot right the way through. Annoying, loud but finally some redemption at the end. I'm glad her ultimatum rule finally made her see through the manipulation.

Wilf - obviously he made the show and as I said he was obviously edited in a way to make him seem worse, but so glad he didn't win.

I'll give season 2 a go but I'm unsure if I'll enjoy it enough to watch all the way through, it depends how much they mix it up and what new ideas they bring!

The whole point of the traitor's was to do all those bad things, you can't really win unless you screw a few people over during the game. It is just a game at the end of the day.

Yeap that's the point. And that's why the people who were picked were picked.

But Wilf was too extreme. As I said with betraying Alyssa; it was necessary for survival but then he was in the clear. He had very close allies and he was doing fine. There was absolutely no reason for him to throw light on Amanda when he did. He was literally the one who brought her demise.
It was greed and selfishness really. I get it's just a game show, and it's edited and they're just playing the game. But Wilf is the exact kind of character who shows his true personality traits by doing so. If its not edited to hell and he's not been told what to say to the camera then he IS a gaslighter and manipulator in real life too. And that's scary to see.

Me and my missus both said that after the traitors had been picked they strawberry floating SUCKED at their poker faces.
One person pretty much had that cocky and smarmy face from LA Noire

Only just finished the first episode. An almost exact copy of something from the Australian series 1:

The woman completely misrepresenting something one of the men said after a task, to make it sound like he was incriminating himself.

Just watched the first two episodes.

Quite enjoyed it, but the Bengal Eagle Owl stole the show.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

Episode 2 spoiler:

How come Anthony didn't call out Diane for that "get in a line" accusation? As far as I'm aware, this was before they even stepped foot in the castle, so before any Traitors had been selected.

The traitors have mentioned Diane being sharp, but she just strikes me as deluded - one of the types that gets clouded by personal feelings and she can't separate suspicious behaviour from behaviour she doesn't like. Her acusation of Anthony was simply "I don't like you".

Two episodes in and I'm enjoying it, but once again they are completely lying about the task timings to "add excitement". No way was that first task finished with 11 seconds to spare out of 40 minutes. The same thing happened with almost every task in the first series, but to make it worse in this one the assembled symbol was floating way out of alignment, then when they cut back to it lighting up it had all magically aligned. I'm not buying it for a second!

This annoyed me. Made out like he said he would be sleeping easy when he didn't say that at all.

Agreed! I'm personally looking forward to her being offed, along with the girl who immediately ran off to get a shield then had a right go at others for doing the same.

She really couldn't see why she was being called hypocritical when it was clear as day

Watched the first two episodes and it's okay so far. I like that the challenges now have shields, so aren't completely pointless, but I still find myself skipping them.

The traitors seem much more obvious this year. I'm expecting a couple of them to get caught early on.

What a bastard of a cliffhanger!

Felt quite sorry for Brian, going to pieces like that. Though all the WTF reactions were funny, his desperate attempts to dig himself out of his own mess were excruciating. He knows he has totally strawberry floated up.

Annoyed by the contestant who justified going for a shield because she thought she “deserved” it.

And it’s amazing that the traitors have turned to backstabbing at such an early stage, because they’ve clearly spotted a weak player in Ash. If she doesn’t get banished now, the next traitors meeting is going to be bloody awkward!

Diane is not long for this world. I do not expect her to last. She's strawberry floating intense. Giving us Norn Irish lads a bad name.

Also what's up with topless gym workout man and his random bedroom workouts

I don't know about you but I'm hoping for more and increasingly insane staged bedroom activities, just to add to the melodrama.

Episode 3 was very good. Paul is a very entertaining godfather!

Ash was always going to go, hopefully that will secure Paul but Meg will be killed off next

Episode 4

Traitors really screwed themselves, they should have just condemned four faithfuls because it's always so obvious to put at least one of their own in there. Now Meg will get killed tonight and Paul will be suspected for not being murdered.

Exactly right Edd. (Ep2.4) The murder has to be Meg. But that makes it pretty obvious that Paul is a traitor. They screwed up badly.

And what a stupid cliffhanger. WE know Ash is a traitor FFS.
