Great finale and another example of how far the show's come.

The scene with Olly confessing his love was cruel for both Felicity and audience, a clever move by the writers though. I wanted to believe. :cry:

Keeping Slade alive was the correct move, it underlines Olly's character growth and allows him to suicide squad it up next season. :datass:

Loved that melee in the tunnel.

On the negative side I was somewhat disappointed Barrowman didn't do anything but smirk. Why bring him back for the finale if not to fight Slade? He best be back full-time for season 3.

Season 3 predictions- Ras has got to show up at some point right? Maybe that's where Barrowman's taking Thea.

Maybe he's gonna kidnap the female cast one by one and teach them how to strawberry floating act

You leave Felicity alone.

Devon Aoki Joins Arrow As Katana

Deadline.com is reporting that Devon Aoki (Sin City, 2 Fast 2 Furious) has been cast as Tatsu Yamashiro, a recurring guest role on the hit CW series Arrow. Fans of the comics know Tatsu as her code name and weapon of choice, Katana. The character, created by Mike W. Barr and Jim Aparo, appeared for the first time in Brave And The Bold #200 (July 1983) and became part of the Batman And The Outsiders title. She has appeared in animation on both the Brave And The Bold and Beware The Batman series as well as in the Batman/Superman: Public Enemies animated movie.

In the more recent Green Arrow comics, Oliver and Tatsu are both connected to a group of martial artist known as the Outsiders where the group is divide into clans based on their weapons of choice… i.e. Arrow Clan, Sword Clan, etc.

In Arrow, Tatsu will be part of the third seasons Hong Kong flashbacks and be seen as one of Oliver’s mentors and trainers on his path to becoming The Arrow. The third season will debut October 8th, 2014.

Some minor spoilers from the press release for Season 3

That better not mean Felicity is getting fridged.

The reappearing villain is Barrowman I guess.

So apparently episode 8 of season 3 is a crossover ep with Flash and Flash 1x08 is the other half of the story. Felicity cameoing in Flash 1x04.

He certainly looks like Red Arrow. I look forward to the episode where he gets high and beats up some hobos with a dead cat.
