Just a note for future.

Now if you'll excuse me, I must prepare retribution for when you discover you've killed an innocent regular forum member.

Erm, no Lagamorph.

There were two people who jumped to Staydead's defence. Yourself and Paper.

When I was running for Mayor I had you both up as lynchees so I didn't ignore any of Staydead's defenders. :|

Rog was rather more defensive of Staydead than either of us.

I can only put up two, what did you want me to do? Try and go with three?

Plus Rog said Staydead told him on Mumble he was innocent which is a bit different. I'm not saying Rog's innocent, just why I chose you two.

That defence is almost as flimsy as Staydead's.

You just get more and more suspicious.

Even if he's telling the truth, it just comes across like a player who's desperate to get the limelight/glory, I just wish we could try and win the game without one of these protection cycles for once - but fair enough if it actually works I suppose.

What I really wanted to say though was that how do we know that there isn't more than one witchdoctor? And the mods actually tried to kill someone else who was protected, like Banjo for instance seems like a pretty obvious target for banning and protecting, I assumed it was him who got protected last night. Of course none of this actually means that Parksey isn't telling the truth, or that his plan won't work. I suppose I just don't like this whole "everyone seer me and make me mayor" style of gameplay, it pretty much excludes the rest of the villagers from actually doing anything.

Well, to be honest, people who know how I play these games know that I am not a player who likes the limelight or seeks it out, nor do I like making contact with people outside of the thread.

Me getting attacked put paid to my usual tactics and meant I had to come out.

Likewise, this is not a ploy to stop villagers with their input. At the moment I am no more informed than anyone else, and people here can still influence the game, and the Seers.

I don't know if you noticed, but that dude made a pretty startling revelation. So no point in me running today due to the fact that these events need to pan out tonight with the whole apparent good power seer three way orgy thing.

There should be a limit on how many times somebody can be Mayor in games like these.

You know what?

That would solve a lot of the problems we get with protection/boredom cycles.

Nice idea, Pete.

So Jenko's statement above could apply to either mods or normal forum members.

Damn this thread moves fast, finally caught up. Got into it a bit more than yesterday so know the discussion a little better.

Still not sure who I'm voting for though.

Or instead of being mayor once every 2 days. Make it once every week.

Anyway, I have nothing really to add, it's just the usual protection cycle stuff which is all fair game. Laga and Rubix are interesting choices, will have to have a wee look back just to see who's the more likely.

Well look through his posts and form your own opinion. Rubix to me looks like he was just derailing the thread by spamming & the only posts relevant to the game were just agreeing what other people say without saying why or really helping much.. Someone else said earlier ( iforget who) that he usually plays differently. If it's his first time playing a Mod/Wolf maybe he's finding it hard being constructive without giving much away.
