You Grinches should all be ashamed of yourselves for killing Rudolph :capnscotty:

Though why did you go for me on that night? Just random? Or had it actually leaked that I was one of the Rudolphs?

That was my bad Laga, I think Dan said it was because you had posted not long before I announced it in thread. They figured you hadn't been around all day to PM so it must have been you.

Apologies :(

Wait, I dont get why you think you get credit for DMl when Tomous killed him.

Tomous said in the death thread he saw my post, went back and checked DML then killed him.

Great game everyone, and i've most definitely proved that my grinch-radar was absolute shite.

Thanks to Drummy too for organising and running the show. :D

So it turns out Satriales is just really damn good at these games!

Congrats also to Moggy, mic and Preezy, doing it for team Village. 8-)

Grinches played well, Banjo getting culled was a turning point.

All in all another excellent game, thanks for running it Drumstick.

Banjo was a major turning point, I'm not convinced we'd have won without that.

Me seeing Staydead's post also helped, I knew I could trust Ironhide then.

I most enjoyed misleading Oblomov early on. I blagged him into believing I had a role (as he was gunning for me!) and he seemed convinced I was the third wise man

Great game Drummy! Although next time the minimum post count should be set much much higher. ;)

Lol, I wouldn't go that far. Lots of luck involved this time.

Turning point for me was when I nominated banjo for lynch against all common sense. I was convinced Robbo was a Grinch but everyone wanted to vote for him which meant he couldn't be a Grinch. Someone needed to make a move and so I did it and looked like I was having a meltdown. Some of what I said was true - I did completely forgot how the alpha mechanic works, and some of it I was accidentally contradicting myself within five minutes. It was messy, but I didn't mind looking suspicious as that would keep me away from the Grinch kills.

Then banjo comes back Grinch later than night and suddenly I become trusted and am able to get a few villagers on my side. I was 50/50 on whether to choose banjo or Ironhide so it could have easily gone the other way and been a disaster.

I also played badly before that with the Cora kill and chasing the day 2 voting list, but we had nothing else to go on and there was some flawed logic behind it.

Yeah, we would have lost if banjo had met the minimum post count.

The timing of yours and sawyer's posts gave you away - have a look in the dead thread.

Did you suspect aayl1 was a seer when you offed him?

I know that Tsunade had said she thought he was a seer in thread but I thought it seemed clear he meant that the TNAG avatar thing was stupid, so I didn't think it necessarily made him stand out. Was it that interaction which got him killed or something else?

I think Tsunade spotted the same thing we did - IIRC he made a definitive statement about someone being a villager (TNAG I think?)

Well done Village and superbly run, Drum! I don't think the lack of events affected things too much, but the dynamics without the Mayoral role did make it feel like there was a lot of despair throughout.

Which of you Grinchy strawberry floaters decided to kill me first night? :capnscotty:

If I remember right it was Dan.

You had publicly suggested 5 non Grinches and were actively trying to form a leadership role in the thread.

Other contenders were Moggy and Jennual. Moggy as it would have ground the thread to a halt and Jennual for his post count machine.

For the most part our strategy was simple, target a [High profile poster] & [Low profile poster]

High profile = Anyone trying to form leadership or who has historically been a good player, but we were more interested in the former
Low profile = Anyone skirting the edges of the post count or not having much presence in the thread.

In hindsight we should have gone for moggy

I saw in the death thread that people were talking about how it was me, you and Sat in the final of the last game.

If I am a bad guy in a future game, I'm taking you two out first. 8-)

This post will bite me in the ass in a later game.

If Banjo posts enough posts, I think the grinches win. Ah well. Good game, shame I got killed for a change in post style which was literally dictated by life being busy.

This is the PM from Oblomov that made me piss myself laughing.

Oblomov Boblomov wrote:I suppose it would be just like you to reveal as a standard Villager then say "see, I told you I was pro-Village :P" you melt!

Good point that he has nothing to lose. He needs to prove it by doing this private kill in PM with Sawyer.

Just seen about the second Rudolph... guess that could still be you then ;).

This was my original PM to him where I hinted (but never lied  ) at a role.

Moggy wrote:Dude, lay off a bit. I'm not telling you anything but I'm a pro village role and you're bringing grinch/lynch heat onto me.

;)

I even added a wink to make him think I was an Elf.

If only Banjo had known he hadn't posted enough by someone providing counts in the thread he might have been saved. :P

Serves you right for killing me Grinch scum!
