Evening all!
On first skim of the rules I'm liking the submerge mechanic. With some coordination we should be able to work it to our favour. At the very least it's extra information.

Yeah I'm thinking we want to try and get all innocents in the Etang so we can start setting up trusted PM circles?

Worst case it glows red and we know one of the 5 is a filthy traitor.

This sounds a bit complicated with Etang and Diamant.
What are they in Ayaw? speak?

Also, with five humans getting entered into the Etang, it is basically human Wordle.

There must be some form of hidden downside to the etang, because that's super powerful. Having 5 innocent people confirmed in one go would be crazy.

I realise it says it takes a day to prepare, but that means we can use it on Day 2 I assume? So essentially every 2 days we get the opportunity to effectively seer 5 people.

Loyal Citizens, you must elect a worthy Bourreau for this day and every day hence.

Any Citizen may stand for election as Bourreau. Please refer to the Basic Rules for an explanation on the election process.

Today only, the elected Bourreau will not be able to use the Etang, as it must first be prepared for activation. Instead, today’s Bourreau will be uniquely presented with two options, only one of which may be taken. The Bourreau’s decision will have consequences further into the game. More information about this will be provided, but only privately to the elected Bourreau.

You may start casting votes for your Bourreau immediately. From tomorrow onwards, the voting process will not begin until after 9am.

I'll stand for mayor, could be fun even without that etang thing.

I realise I actually have to guillotine someone as well as drag a trolley out of the pool so I will put Zendaya up just so I have a confirmed candidate. They have yet to even make their account as far as I can tell so this doesn't inspire confidence they'll be an asset. Plus with mayor votes being 40% majority votes I think we'll have to come down on inactives pretty hard this game.

It's effectively more Seerings at once, with the trade-off of much less accuracy. We only get confirmed info with five good guys.
