I really liked Immortal Hulk.

Ryan North is good too.

Immortal Hulk was harmed by the artist being a massive anti-semite and smuggling anti-semitic messages in the book. The writing is great though.

The collected hardcovers I have have removed that imagery. What a berk though, even if you have such thoughts why blow up your career like that? I guess jew-haters aren't the smartest folks to begin with.

Wonder if this has any ties to the old Ultimate Spider-Man series?

Unless something changes in the end of his Ultimate Invasion mini-series which is setting up the new Ultimate Universe, it's completely different. Hickman writing Spider-Man from the beginning in its own universe is very exciting.

I feel like it should have a different name though. It feels very DC with Earth 2 in the New 52 being an alternate universe that's like the Earth 2 from before our worlds colliding multiverse simplifying event, but actually it's different and you need a degree in DC Wikis with a minor in comic book nonsense to make sense of it.

Donny Cates was assumed to be doing something with the Ultimate Universe but all his books got allocated out after he almost died in a car crash. I wonder if the original plan was to bring the Ultimate Universe back as it was and Hickman decided a full reboot.

I feel it's going to be too slow. I wish Marvel would do fortnightly with alternating artists, like DC did with Superman and Batman post Rebirth. It made caring about the ongoing stories so much easier.
