Advice please as I'm clueless.

My wee boy is obsessed with setting up a YouTube channel,one with his face in the corner of the screen when playing a game. Is there any way to do this without a pc? I have a PlayStation 3 and 4.

I'm highly doubtful but any advice would be appreciated.

PS4 you can if you have the PS camera. If not then all he can do is stream the game.

I can easily buy the camera but surely I need a pc to edit and whatnot?

You can stream directly from the PS4 from Twitch or YouTube. You can edit and upload saved footage using the Share Factory app.
